Fixer and developer wastewater collects in a 250-gal (946 L) or 55-gal (208 L) holding tank. The MBX-MI draws from it through clear 3/8″ tubing and the LS1 suction wand, which reads the tank level.
Patented metallic-exchange media in the MixExchanger filters captures 99.99% of the silver at 0.26 gal/min (1 L/min). No chemicals are dosed at any point.
An integrated pH probe monitors the discharge. Treated water is ready for the drain, and hauling charges turn into silver value.
Every MBX-MI reports to Metatrax over ethernet or cellular. It tracks the volume through each column, flags when a change is due, and emails your team with troubleshooting steps.
