Enviro-Filter An innovative commingling solution
Enviro-Filter specifications	The Metafix Enviro-Filter(tm) will help your processor effluent meet environmental discharge regulations and standards. Following thorough recycling and secondary silver recovery, the Enviro-Filter acts as an effective, three-step final treatment filter, accumulating metals and chemicals from spent fixer, developer, and wash water. Step 1) The fixer and developer enter the Enviro-Filter and flow into the lower primary precipitation chamber, where natural precipitation of metals and chemicals occur. Precipitated material is retained in the lower chamber by a unique plastic baffle matrix. Step 2) As the precipitated solution rises, the Enviro-Filter's compressed filter media reduces sedimentary discharge more efficiently than other one-step "bucket" systems. Step 3) The commingling chamber combines the solution with the processors wash water and prepares the effluent for homogeneous discharge. The Enviro-Filter is available in several configurations to suit all your processing applications. Models include a clog-resistant Teflon(tm) discharge fitting, reducing the possibility of blocking and a "low level" discharge height, allowing for installation with even the lowest processors. The Enviro-Filter is effective for treating up to 1000 US gallons of fixer effluent or for one year of installation. Prior to discharge of spent Enviro-Filters, we recommend treatment with Metafix's innovative encapsulation media, Solidyzer(tm). Solidyzer will, in many regions, permit the spent Enviro-Filter to be thrown away as common trash. Features and Benefits Enables you to meet environmental regulations and standards.
