The MetaWool medium
in the Metafix MRCs improves cartridge performance significantly,
because of the following:
-
The
inert, fiber filling material forces the silver-rich
solution to flow in a random pattern, dramatically increasing
the efficiency of the iron and virtually eliminating
the channeling problem that exists in most commercially
available MRCs.
-
The
inert filling material acts as mini-filters and holds
the silver particles in place, increasing the efficiency
of the iron and the silver recovery capacity of the
MRC.
-
The
inert filling material is not consumed by the silver-rich
solution. It provides a support for the core of the
MRC and prevents the core from collapsing.
-
Metafix
MRCs are manufactured with MetaWool using a special
high-pressure system.
All Metafix MRCs are
for one-time use. No recoring is required.
